Huw Davies Therapy and Supervision
About my supervision
Supervision for Counsellors, Psychotherapists and those in other caring/support professions
I hold a Diploma in Clinical and Creative Supervision and am a BACP senior accredited supervisor (individuals).
I am able to offer a supervision/clinical supervision service to practising qualified counsellors, counsellors in training and other relevant professional practitioners. I am able to offer this service to individuals or groups.
I am flexible in my approach to providing supervision, recognising the many pressures that practicing professionals and those in training face (subject to ethical considerations).
I work to BACP ethical standards and guidance for supervision. Good practice states this is in most cases, 1.5 hours per month (as a minimum) for counselling and psychotherapy work as well as for those in related professions. You can find more information about supervision requirements in the BACP Good practice in action resources.
If you are a BACP/NCS accredited member, or wish to apply for accreditation, you must have a minimum of one and a half hours’ supervision each month.
When we initially meet we will discuss issues such as;
Whether we feel we will develop a working supervisory relationship
What sort of approach will be relevant for the work that you bring
What our framework of working together may include
How much supervision is required given current profession, status and workload etc.
How, when and where we will meet
How much it will cost
We will form our supervisory contract and arrange our first session together.
Individual fee is £55.00 per 1.5 hour session.
Invoiced individual fee £70.00 per 1.5 hour session
Group fee is available on request.
There are occasionally concessionary, negotiable rates for counsellors in training, students in related professions and the unwaged.
Please note that fee levels are subject to payment method and concessions where offered, are to individuals and not organisations.
